Standard Elastic is a material that does not shrink when stretched because it does not contain as much rubber and fiber as braided and woven elastic. This fact benefits the cost-effectiveness. It can be produced as the fastest of all the flat elastics, leading to short production times for large-volume production.
Standard elastic protects its wideness when stretched by being softer than other elastics. It is preferred for medium and heavy fabrics due to its softness. Particularly Textile and clothing, haberdashery, medical and home textiles are the usage areas.
