However, elastics produced this way are prone to shrinkage—up to 10% on average—especially after washing. This shrinkage can cause deformation and puckering in the final products where the elastic is used.

Our woven elastics undergo a special finishing and heat-setting process after coming off the loom. Thanks to this process, we reduce the average shrinkage rate to around 3% after washing. The result is durable, high-performance elastics that retain their shape over time.
